IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

The Financial Controller is accountable for financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control. This role is also responsible for financial reporting to measure performance, financial risks and budget opportunities. The role is accountable for setting up the company's account structure in the annual planning process and further, the Financial Controller supports relevant cost centers in our financial systems and is partnering with key stakeholders.

• Lead the Revenue month end closing activities including accruals, provisions, invoicing intructions and reconciliations ensuring accurateness and timeliness
• Controlling Direct Costs from Intercompany and Key Strategic partners
• Developing and maintaining planning and budgeting systems including forecasts and budget reviews
• Preparation of financial and management reports and procedures on a local and at consolidated level
• Performing analyses, deviations, findings and interpreting trends requiring management's attention
• Coordinating the organization's accounting structure and areas of focus
• Supporting finance-related activities for relevant cost center including systems maintenance and contracts
• Partnering with The Finance Business Partner and other key stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
• Developing and documenting applicable policies and business processes to strengthen internal controls
• Additional controlling duties as necessary

TO SUCCEED YOU NEED

• 3+ years of experience in a finance controller (preferably from a Revenue and Direct Cost perspective)
• Strong ability to learn and adapt in a fast pace business organization with hybrid setup
  
• Collaborative mindset with Hands-on and attention to detail
  
• Proactive personality that gets things done, to improve and proposing solutions
  
• Hold a degree in business studies and a recognized finance degree (CPA or equivalent)
• Proven experience with month-end and year-end close processes
  
• Have experience leading creation and analysis of financial management reporting
  
• Strong communication skills and excellent stakeholder management skills
  
• Advanced MS Excel skills
  
• Excellent written and verbal Portuguese (C2) and English (C1)
